聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 The Town of Preeceville will be hosting a cultural day with many ethic community members showcasing the cultures in and around the community.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 "The event will be held at the Preeceville Legion Hall on September 30 with many different cultures showcased in a mini folk festival setting," said Andrea Tonn.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Culture Days raises the awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement of Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities, according to the Sask Cultures website. With the support of volunteer groups at the national, provincial and local levels, hundreds of thousands of artists, cultural workers, organizations and groups, volunteers and supporters self-mobilize to host聽 that take place in hundreds of cities and towns throughout the country over the last weekend of September each year.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The seventh annual Culture Days weekend will take place September 30 and October 1 and 2, and will feature thousands of free, hands-on, interactive activities that invite the public to participate 鈥渂ehind-the-scenes鈥� to discover the world of artists, creators, historians, architects, curators, designers and other creative people in their communities, it said.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 鈥淲ith thousands of activities registered at聽, Culture Days drives a multi-level national communications and public relations campaign designed to inspire and catalyze greater public participation in the arts and cultural life of our communities,鈥� it said. A variety of free, useful聽tips and tools聽are available to support activity organizers throughout their process of planning, promoting, hosting and sharing their Culture Days experiences.
