With almost everything moving toward web technology and embracing promotional platforms such as social media, the Town of Outlook took a step in the digital direction with the revamping of their official website, which debuted last week.
The look of the new site incorporates images from local residents and photographers that speak to Outlook’s surroundings and landscape, and the format includes tabs and links for residents, visitors, recreation, business, as well as information such as public notices, zoning bylaw info, and town policies. It also contains links to the town’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
Though the look and content of the site is still being tooled with and updated, the Town believed that it was imperative that the new site be up and operational well in time before the Canada Day long weekend, where it’s expected that Outlook will have a high volume of visitors that may want access to the kind of information that is typically found on any given community’s official website.
The new website can be found at www.townofoutlook.ca.
