聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 In October, two new physicians are scheduled to arrive and receive orientation to Sunrise Health Region. The health region recruited the physicians to fill vacancies in Preeceville and area, said a news release from Sunrise Health Region.
聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 Dr. Catharina Meyer will arrive in the region and begin a week of orientation on October 3, the release said. Another physician is expected to begin a week of orientation on October 11, pending successful completion of the Saskatchewan International Physician Practice Assessment (SIPPA).
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 After orientation, the physicians will join Dr. Morteza Shahrestani and Dawn Kennedy, the nurse practitioner, in accepting appointments at the Preeceville Health Care Centre.
聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 Ahead of the physicians鈥� arrival, the clinic continues to be fully operational with appointments available, the release said.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Consultations to develop a plan for emergency services will occur with the new physicians after they have completed their orientation, it said.
