SASKATOON – A man wanted by police has been arrested and appeared in Saskatoon court Monday.
On April 7, Meadow Lake RCMP released 33-year-old Lennex James Merasty-Morin’s photo to the public saying he was wanted for numerous serious charges including assault with a weapon, two counts of assault, two counts of uttering threats, and driving while prohibited.
Merasty-Morin’s charges were waived from Meadow Lake court to Saskatoon court at the request of the Crown.
Court documents show that Merasty-Morin also goes by the name of Durocher.
Merasty-Morin has a show cause hearing scheduled in Saskatoon Provincial court May 6.
The charges against him haven’t been proven in court.
