The Family Resource Centre located in Sturgis provides programs, resources, and support for children, youth, and families in the Sturgis, Preeceville, and Endeavour area.
鈥淲e have come up with a new family activity challenge for Family Day that included the week off school," stated Karolyn Kosheluk, coordinator.
The family activity challenge, challenges everyone to spend time with the people who they love by doing an activity that included literacy (reading, writing or crafting) or physical activity (sliding, walking or skiing or any other outdoor activity).
``It鈥檚 a way to encourage families of all kinds, shapes, and sizes to spend some quality time together,鈥� said Kosheluk.鈥�Enter as many times as you do an eligible activity. And remember we have a broad definition of family, so that is whoever you spend time with. But we are encouraging that all COVID-19 public health regulations be followed."
Four families will each win a $25 gift card from a restaurant in Sturgis, Preeceville, Endeavour or Stenen.
