The rink in the small community of Hilltop was abuzz with activity on Sunday of the Family Day long weekend when they held a kid's bonspiel. It was a great chance for everyone from 5 to 15 to get a chance to curl. Five Talbot cousins, Carter and Sarah Bailey from Hazlet, Riley and Ashalee Talbot of Dubuc, and Jayme Markwart of Regina, as well as, Keely-Shae Maki from Lanigan were 'Dubuc" representatives at the kid's spiel at Hilltop.

The monthly community birthday party was held on the 4th Wednesday again this month. Some gathered early to play cards and watch a video.

Darla Bailey and her children, Liam, Sarah and Carter, of Hazlet and Dayna Markwart and her daughter, Jayme, from Regina were Family day/school holiday visitors with their parents, Jim and Vivian Talbot and brother, Shane, Terra and family. The children enjoyed the kid's curling at Hilltop and the Bailey's also took in the community February birthday party.

Keely-Shae enjoyed curling at Hilltop with all the young people including her cousins, Dustin, and twins, Hunter and Hudson, sons of Jeanine (Stadel) and Corey Chesney from Waldron. They all visited with Grandma Patsy Nagy of Bangor, as well.
