CALDER - Calder library program underway

Calder students and staff wish their grade eight students farewell as these students head off to grade nine at the Yorkton Regional High School this fall. These are the students that are leaving this year: Meagan D., Kaitlyn K., Joanthony and Michayla. Good luck in grade nine this fall.

Jaylynn Molnar will be heading off to Yorkton Regional High School this fall where she will be heading into grade nine. Jaylynn attended Yorkdale High school this year. Good luck, Jaylynn, in grade nine.

Grades 1 to 5 students from Calder School attended Churchbridge Track and Field day on Fri., June 15, 2012.

Calder School has started a new recycling ink cartridge program at the school. So please help by donating your ink cartridges from your printer to the Calder School. (Please no toner cartridges).

Calder Parkland Regional Library Summer Reading Program will start on July 4, 2012, at 2 o'clock. So come out and have some fun.

Calder Regional Library hours are Monday 1-4, and Wednesday 1-4. So come and take out some good books and a cup of coffee.

Students who are graduating from the Yorkton Regional High school this year from the Calder and surrounding area are Amanda Antony, Chandrika Jerg, and Kallie Haas.

The Calder Library held a Leap Into Action at the local library on June 13, 2012. It was so nice to see the young parents come out to the workshop.

The Calder seniors held their Whist Drive on June 16, 2012. The winners were: Mildred Danylko; 2nd Donald Kahut; 3rd Arthur Martink; low Norman Wozny. Pot of Gold winners Mildred Danylko and Ella Becker.
