BREDENBURY - New worship times

Deepest sympathy to the family and friends of late Gladys Wiley who passed away on May 19. Gladys was a resident at the Bentley Retirement Home in Yorkton at the time of her passing. She was a former resident of Bredenbury.

Deepest sympathy to the family and friends of late Gladys Wiley who passed away on May 19. Gladys was a resident at the Bentley Retirement Home in Yorkton at the time of her passing. She was a former resident of Bredenbury.

A graveside service was held in the Bredenbury Cemetery for the late Ralph and Beryl Wiley of Saskatoon. They too were long time residents. About seventy relatives, friends and family met at the Busy Bees after the service.

Get well wishes to Eva Knott, Jean Thorsness and Jeff Taylor who are in the Esterhazy Hospital.

Visiting her parents, Keith and Jean Thorsness is their daughter, Myra Hasenchever of Grand Prairie, AB.

Blood pressure clinic was held Wed., June 6 from 1-3 at the Busy Bees.

Word has been received that Nellie Miller (Porter) of Prince George passed away on May 30, 2012. A funeral service for the late Nellie Miller will be held in Fort St. John, BC. on June 30. Nellie & Hunter Miller were long time residents of Bredenbury. The community expresses deepest sympathy to her family and relatives. Even to her last days she always kept up to the news and events that took place in Bredenbury and often phoned if there was no news from Bredenbury in the Four Town Journal. Quite remarkable for a lady of 96 years.

Tyson Herron of Regina spent the weekend with his grandparents Dave and Gloria. Visiting Gloria and Dave Herron was their son Vince Herron of Innisfail and friend Scott Holroyd of Red Deer, AB. They enjoyed fishing over the long weekend at Twin Lake, north of Roblin, catching Tiger Trout.

The Bredenbury United Church welcomes three members who transferred membership from Churchbridge to Bredenbury, Donna Pedrick, Jessie Revet and Jean Anderson. Welcome to the Knox United Church.

Church services will be 10:10 for June 10 and 17 in Bredenbury. June 24 will be the joint service in Saltcoats at 10 a.m. There will be no church services in Bredenbury for July and August.

Visiting with Gerald & Darlene Burman and family last weekend were Penny and Charlie LaRocque and Kate LaRocque of Brandon.
