BREDENBURY - Annual picnic planned

Merle McLachlan and her sister Lynne Taylor spent the weekend with Adrian and Louise McLachlan. While here they attended a Memorial Service for Adrian's cousin Evelyn Lamb in Yorkton and on Sunday they attended the Memorial Service held in the United Church in Bredenbury. The morning service was held in the church. From there it went to the cemetery and then back to the church for lunch and lots of visiting with people who had come for the special day.

Gladys Wiley of Yorkton spent the weekend with her grandsons Dallas and Amy Wiley and attended the Memorial Service.

Congratulations to Dustin & Kayla Brears on the birth of their daughter Harlee Kaylee. Proud grandparents are Murray & Twila Brears. Congratulations also to Terry Campbell & Jaime Schwartz on the birth of their daughter Lyla Marie. Grandparents are Gary & Michelle Campbell.

Students from Saltcoats school participated in a Provincial Archery Tournament in Yorkton on May 28. Congratulations to Ty Jacob who received a bronze medal for Grade Four.

A bridal shower for Cassie Taylor was held Saturday afternoon in the hall and a large crowd attended. Cassie & Craig Karding will be married in August. Best wishes from the community.
Get well wishes to Darlene Burman who had more surgery on her wrist in Regina on Saturday.

The Annual Community Picnic sponsored by the Lions will be held June 21 this year.
Peter & Barb Janett visited their family in Saskatoon over the weekend.

Eva Knott had her neices Cindy & Tina from Olds, AB to visit also her brother Mel & Irene McFall from Treherne, MB.
