Annual Preeceville Christmas store said another success

This year was another great year for the kids for the 14th annual Children's Christmas store that was held on December 20 at the Preeceville Public Library, said Linda Shewchuk, an organizer.

聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 This year was another great year for the kids for the 14th annual Children's Christmas store that was held on December 20 at the Preeceville Public Library, said Linda Shewchuk, an organizer.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 "We've had amazing donations coming in from our community members and businesses, along with outreach help from the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Value Village," Shewchuk said.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 This year was an amazing success for our community as around 100 kids participated, she said, thanking the public library for stepping up and hosting this year.聽
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 With the help of Shewchuk's friends, including Janet Walker, Cindy MacDonald and Brandi Heskin, the 2017 year was 鈥渁nother fantastic success.鈥澛
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 When Shewchuk started the store, she and her daughters built an exceptional tradition and made so many memories for many, she said. So it was extra special to have the tradition grow with the extra help of the 鈥渓ittle elves鈥 including Carley Walker, Kacey Heskin and Saphira Anaka.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 With the participation of Preeceville's Public Library which hosted the store and the Preeceville School, it was a community success for the children and their beliefs of giving and caring.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 With the generous proceeds received, a percentage will go into the store's host this year, and the remaining proceeds will go to the Preeceville School.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Donations are welcome and appreciated all year long, she said, adding that she is currently looking for a storage space to hold donations.
