Bredenbury Cougars held their open golf tournament on Saturday, June 26 at the Bredenbury Sunnyside Golf Tournament with 20 avid golfers taking part.
The winners of the best ball partner golf were 1st, Taylor Thompson, Lindsay Thompson with a score of 2 under par 68; 2nd, Justin Keller, Riley Rice; 3rd, Darcey Johnson, J.J. Johnson.
A hamburger BBQ dinner was held at noon for the golfers and anyone else in the community. Thanks to all who worked, donated food and helped in any way to make this a successful event. Fun was had by all.

Saturday, July 10: Open tournament, steak supper, registration from 9:30-10:30; Shot gun start at 10:30. Steak supper at 4 o'clock.
August 7 - Night Golf, watch for posters for times and information on event.
A miscellaneous bridal shower was held for Leni Harris on Saturday, June 25 at her mother's farmyard (Roxann Harris) south of Yorkton. The yard was decorated for the celebration. Out of town guests attending the shower were Pat Roland, Prince Albert; Jill Deerlove, Stoughton; Penny LaRocque, Brandon; Merle McLachlan, Susan Getz and Jennifer Taylor of Regina. Thanks to all the many friends and relatives from Bredenbury and area who attended.
A delicious lunch and shower cake were served.
Lexi Harris bride elect and Tyler Burman will be married Saturday, August 21, 2010. Tyler Burman is the son of Barb and Gary Burman.
Congratulations to Danielle Irene Badowich daughter of Dan & Edr Badowich of Yorkton who was Christened at the St. Gerard Church in Yorkton. Many friends and relatives attended. Carrie Lewchuk, Emily Lewchuk and her girlfriends of Spokane, Washington were here for the celebration and visiting with her mother Irene Badowich of Bredenbury.
