VEREGIN - For the first time since before the impact of the pandemic, Veregin hosted its highly anticipated annual Shishliki Barbeque and Beer Garden. Marking its remarkable 76th year, the Veregin Shishliki Barbeque drew a large number of attendees. The number of attendees at the gathering stretched from the inside of the Veregin Skating Rink, all the way out of the rink to the sizzling barbeque stand. The barbeque was hosted and organized by various groups, including the Veregin Recreation Board, the National Doukhobor Heritage Village, the Veregin Senior Centre, and the River Valley Archery Club.
