KAMSACK - Effective Wednesday, July 13, 2022 inpatient and emergency services will not be available at the Kamsack Hospital due to staffing shortages. This service disruption will remain in effect until further notice.
The emergency department at this facility will only be available Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Anyone needing emergency services outside of those hours is urged to call 9-1-1 or visit an emergency department in Canora, Kelvington, Wadena or Yorkton. Non-urgent health related questions can be directed to the provincial HealthLine by calling 8-1-1.
Recruitment efforts to Kamsack continue and services will resume as staffing increases.
Lab and x-ray services will remain operational Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and are not affected by this disruption. Primary and Long Term Care Services remain unaffected as well.
