KAMSACK - The Kamsack Volunteer Fire Department (KVFD) recently practiced with their inflatable water tank - using Tanker 1 as a nursing/supply vehicle while drafting water using their portable pump to resupply Pumper 6. This is very useful in situations where the team does not have a reliable water supply.

In the latest fundraising effort to ensure the KVFD can grow its collection of rescue equipment like the inflatable water tank, the fourth annual Kamsack Volunteer Fire Department 50/50 raffle is set to begin. Tickets are $5 each and the winner will take home a maximum prize of $2,500 when the draw takes place on December 1.
Those looking to purchase tickets are invited to reach out to any Kamsack fire fighter, send a message through the KVFD Facebook page, or stop in at the Kamsack Town Office during office hours. For tickets purchased at the town office, only cash will be accepted.
