KAMSACK — Buck's Dollar Store in Kamsack recently organized a fundraising raffle to support the maintenance of Runnymede cemetery. The initiative aimed to generate funds for the upkeep of the cemetery.

The draw for the gift basket took place on Dec. 22, with Reed Woodworth officiating the drawing process. The lucky basket winner was Joanne Genaille, who won the prize during the festive holiday season.

The gift basket was donated by Norma and Brenda MacDonald from Runnymede.

All proceeds from the sale of raffle tickets went towards the Runnymede cemetery. The funds raised will play a crucial role in ensuring the preservation and upkeep of this significant local burial ground.
