KAMSACK — Of the 37 persons hired at the Kamsack Comprehensive Institute for the 2022-23 term, 16 are teachers, nine are educational assistants and 11 were hired to do other jobs.
Of the 16 teachers working with Mark Lucas, the principal, and Laura Reilkoff, the vice-principal, four are new to the school and two are returning after at least one year away.
New to the school are: Taylor Dietrich, Simone Homeniuk, Patricia Ives and Shelby Stefanyshyn.
Teachers returning to the staff, after not having worked for at least one year, are: Laura Blender and Aimee Sipple, who work half days.
Educational assistants new to the school are: Corine Chernoff and Charlene Hermary, The other educational assistants are: Katelynn Allen, Shannon Bielecki, Lee Bowes, Lisa Hausermann, Crystal Hermary, Logan Hilderman (a bus driver) and Nicola Straub.
Wendy Becenko is the administrative assistant; Lana Kulak, cultural liaison; Miranda Reilkoff-Leis, a counsellor; Cara Shabatoski, a student services teacher; Barbara Tetoff, librarian; Michele Tomochko, financial services; Glenda Tulloch, a substitute teacher and student advisor; Amanda Vidomski, server, and Martin Leis, Amy Luu and Annie Morenos, caretakers.
The rest of the teaching staff is comprised of: Brian Angeloni (practical applied arts), Taylor Dietrich, Zachary Fedorak, Michelle Guillet, Daren Kitsch (music), Ryan Lambert, Jayden Lang, Kasen Palamar (practical applied arts), Kody Rock, Joanne Schwartz and Wendy Shabatoski (art).
