Next month, four deserving recipients will have a spotlight shone on them with a special banquet held in their honor at the 8th annual Community Appreciation Awards.
The event, presented by the Outlook & District Chamber of Commerce and The Outlook, highlights the people, businesses and community groups that help make the town of Outlook such a vibrant, unique and remarkable place to call home.
This year’s recipients are as follows:
The 2017 Jim Kook Citizen of the Year – Darlene Hovdestad
The 2017 Business of the Year – Outlook Funeral Chapel
The 2017 Youth of the Year – Chastan Sim
The 2017 Group of the Year – Outlook Fire Department
The Community Appreciation Awards banquet takes place on Wednesday, April 18 at the Outlook Civic Centre.
