More than 50 people attended a barbecue held May 22 at the Keen Age Centre where two well-known entertainers, Glen Leson of Canora and Sandy Solonenko of Yorkton entertained.
Guests were welcomed by Edith Kotzer, the president and the social convenor was Jean Zarazun.
鈥淕len and Sandy entertained the crowed with duets and instruments,鈥� Zarazun said. 鈥淟ater, Jillian rice, who is Glen鈥檚 daughter, joined them and sang several songs.
鈥淕len has been away from music for over 25 years,鈥� she said. 鈥淣ow in his retirement, he made a comeback and is very good at guitar pickin鈥�.
鈥淲hen the month of May comes around, so does the barbecue and Peter Wiebe and Charlie Rudachuk did an excellent job as the cooks,鈥� she said. The lunch committee prepared a variety of food and desserts. Lorraine Katelnikoff said grace.
