Twelve members of the Canora Keen Age Centre who celebrated their birthdays in July or August were honoured at a barbecue social on August 2.
Honoured were: Charlie Rudahyk, Paul Gogal, John Fehr, Peter Wiebe, Ann Pasloski, Gladys Grodzinski, Olga Baulin, Adeline Letwinuk, Merle Tratch, Elsie Obodiak, Madeline Haning and Mary Fedorchuk.
A Kamsack group called The Redeemed entertained with gospel songs.
The afternoon program concluded with barbecued burgers and a delicious supper enjoyed by 47 members.
Jean Zarazun, the program convener, thanked the barbecuers, the kitchen cooks and all who attended. She made a special note of those who brought cakes for the birthday party.
Zarazun led in grace before the meal.
