STURGIS - The Sturgis Curling Club hosted a senior curling bonspiel with 12 teams entered from Feb. 7-9. It concluded with a banquet and fun socializing evening on Feb. 9. The winning team was the Canora foursome skipped by Don Probe. Rounding out the team were: Brian Herriges, Robert Waselenko and Robert Roll. Teams played six ends per game. Points were awarded for wins and each end where points were scored, with a cash payout prize. Other teams entered were skipped by: Brian Peterson, Bob Lumley, Dale Zubko, Don Koroluk, Barb Collerge, Joy Hubic, Bob Lebo, Larry Dahl, Cory Babiuk, Jerry Peesker and Peter Wiwchar.
