The Invermay Golden Age Club hosted a jubilee celebration of Queen Elizabeth's service to the monarchy on Victoria Day, May 23.
The program was emceed by Mike Kaminski. Participants enjoyed a PowerPoint presentation of the Queen's life and service. Following that they had an opportunity to test their knowledge of the monarchy. Hazel Smith said grace, and Lena and Steve Potorieko cut the royal cake after lunch. The event was sponsored by the Golden Age Club, Heritage Canada, the RM of Invermay and the Village of Invermay. All participants were presented Jubilee pens to commemorate the event.
