Grad entrance a great way to get to know 2024 graduates

As the graduates entered individually, their favourite music played and they were introduced by emcee Thomas Lowes.

CANORA - During the entrance to the Graduation Exercises at King George Park on June 27, family and friends in attendance had the opportunity to get to know the graduates a bit better.

They chose the theme, “Why fit in when you were born to stand out?” And with unique cast of characters in this class, that was probably the perfect choice.

As the graduates entered individually, their favourite music played and they were introduced by emcee Thomas Lowes.

Aidan Ash: “Aidan is the son of Tammy Berehula and Lee Ash and Catherine Holt. Aidan’s future plan is to get his welding certificate.”

Ty Baillie: “Ty is the son of Dallas and Jody Baillie. Ty plans to enter his family’s business and own his own house before he is 25.”

Rylan Bletsky: “Rylan is the son of Rob and Tracey Bletsky, and plans to go into power engineering and achieve his dreams.”

Owen Borson: “Owen is the son of Crystal Jacob. He will be attending trade school with the goal of becoming a welder.”

Jack Craig: “The son of Tyler and Jill Craig, Jack will be taking engineering next year at the University of Saskatchewan. One day Jack hopes to become a test engineer and work in Canada.”

Ethan Curtis: “Ethan is the son of Corey and Carrie Curtis. Next year Ethan plans to attend Sask Polytech in Moose Jaw to take engineering design and drafting technology. “

Braeden Goetzinger: “Brayden is the son of Mark and Michelle Goetzinger. Next year Braeden plans to make the big bucks. One day he hopes to own his own business and live a happy life.”

Brandon Harder: “Brandon is the son of Bryan Harder and Kristen Kelbaugh-Harder. Next year Brandon plans to take online classes through the University of Regina. One day he hopes to be a journalist and report on stories that matter to Canadians, and also travel the globe and run in the federal election for Prime Minister.”

Jordan Harper: “Jordan is the daughter of Jess and Lisa Harper. Jordan plans to work full time at the daycare in Canora next year, as well as start working on her Level 2 in Early Childhood Education.”

Bronson Heshka: “Bronson is the son of Bryan and Tracy Heshka and the late Tracy Thomas. Next year Bronson will be attending the University of Regina to take biochemistry. One day he plans to become a pharmacologist and create new types of medicine for people in need.”

Alina Khrul: “Alina is the daughter of Halyna and Vasyl Shumada. Next year Alina plans to continue working at Crossroads Credit Union.”

Hunter Lamb: “Hunter is the son of Graham Lamb and Bryan and Tracy Heshka.  Hunter plans to go to Moose Jaw next year to study architectural technologies.”

Lucas Latham: “Lucas is the son of Trevor Latham and Jody Kowalyshyn and Kelly McTavish. Next year Lucas plans to attend the University of Saskatchewan and start working on a bachelor of commerce degree.”

Shayna Leson: “Shayna is the daughter of Shannon and Shawna Leson. Shayna plans to study education at the University of Saskatchewan.”

Zennia Lukey: “Zennia is the daughter of Tim and Alyssa Lukey. Zennia plans to attend Lakeland College in Vermillion, Alta. to study crop technology with the goal of one day getting a job as a crop advisor.”

Michael Owchar: “Michael is the son of Michael and Desiree Owchar. His plans are to take a year off to farm, then go into trades and own his own business.”

Josh Rock: “Josh is the son of Adrien and Chelsea Rock. Next year Josh will be attending the University of Saskatchewan for his bachelor of education degree. His plan is to become a high school math and science teacher.”

Hunter Secondiak: “Hunter is the son of Mervin and Gladys Secondiak. Hunter’s plan for the future is to start a real estate business.”

Taye Shukin: “Taye is the son of Kurtis and Gen Shukin. Next year Taye plans to play junior hockey. One day his goal is to become an electrician.”

Callie Sznerch: “Callie is the daughter of Jeff and Cindy Sznerch. Callie will be attending the University of Alberta in Edmonton specializing in chemistry. One day she plans to further her education into a medical-based degree.”

Porter Wolkowski: “Porter is the son of Colby and Carmen Wolkowski. Next year Porter plans to attend Lakeland College to take animal science-beef management. Eventually he plans to return to the farm and grow his Simmental herd.”

Nate Wolos: “Nate is the son of Kevin Wolos and Lesley Parnetta. Next year Nate will be attending the University of Saskatchewan to pursue a bachelor of science in engineering. His plan is to become a chemical engineer.”

Bailee Zuravloff: “Bailee is the daughter of Darren and Amanda Zuravloff. Bailee plans to attend the University of Saskatchewan to get a bachelor of education degree.”
