CANORA - The fall harvest season is a busy time for the farmers as they work round the clock to get the crops off the field. Rama Co-op staff members try to support farmers in any way they can, according to Glenda Jeffrey, Agro Manager.
“We feel it is a very important time of year to check in with our farm customers, see how harvest is progressing, praise their efforts and ultimately let our farmers know we are thinking about them,” said Jeffrey.
“FCL has designed special branded cooler bags that we fill with Co-op branded snacks like chips and peanuts plus water to keep our farm customers going during the long harvest days.”
They also included a copy of the Canora Courier’s Harvest Edition.
Jeffrey said she and Logan Schultz, assistant agro manager, “enjoy handing out the Harvest Bags as a way to thank our local Rama Co-op farm customers for their support and wish them good luck during the harvest season.”
